Commercial or residential: which property suits you?
Shops and apartments reward you in different ways. One pays through rent from a business, the other through a home you can live in or let. Here is how to choose between them for your own situation.

A residential property gives you somewhere to live or a tenant who needs one. Demand is steady, the rent is predictable, and the unit is easy to explain to the next buyer. A commercial property depends on a business, which can earn more but also rises and falls with how well that business is doing.
